Children’s Day Care Home

Hours:

7:00 AM – 6:00 PM Mon–Fri

Capacity:

40 children (ages 0–6)

Many vulnerable children are left alone while caregivers try to earn a living, leading to malnutrition, accidents, and delayed development. Our day care gives children safety, food, and learning — and gives caregivers time to work, train, or farm.

Services Provided

  • Early childhood education (play-based learning, pre-reading, numbers)
  • Three nutritious meals (breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack)
  • Health checks, deworming, and basic first aid
  • Emotional & spiritual nurturing (age-appropriate values)
  • Pick-up & drop-off for working parents within Biharwe radius

Monthly Sponsorship

$30/month covers food, learning materials, and basic care for one child. Fees are on a sliding scale based on ability to pay — some children are fully sponsored.

Skilling centre building construction and vocational training space at SHUL

🏗️ Project 5 of 4

Skilling Centre Building Fund

Funding Goal:

$32,000 (construction & equipment)

Capacity:

60 trainees per session | 6 workshop rooms

Young people and women in our community lack access to practical skills that lead to sustainable income. We urgently need a dedicated, permanent building to host tailoring, carpentry, computing, and agribusiness training. Your donations will fund construction, tools, and furniture — transforming lives through dignified work.

The Centre Will Provide

  • Tailoring & fashion design workshop (15 sewing machines)
  • Carpentry & joinery workspace with tools and safety gear
  • Computer literacy lab (15 PCs + internet access)
  • Agriculture & mushroom growing demonstration unit
  • Business skills & financial literacy classroom

How You Can Fund the Building

$50 buys a workbench  |  $250 buys a heavy-duty sewing machine  |  $1,500 roofs one workshop  |  $5,000 sponsors an entire classroom.
Every donation brings a permanent skilling centre closer to reality.
